Since it’s December, holiday shopping is full speed ahead!! With all the holiday parties, NYE, and especially gift giving season, shopping can definitely feel like a chore (especially in store shopping!). But sometimes you can’t beat the in store deals, especially at outlets! I visited the Gilroy Premium Shopping Outlets in Gilroy, CA this past weekend to get some serious shopping done! Besides gift hunting, I was on the lookout for the perfect outfit to wear for any upcoming holiday parties this year. Holiday parties are seriously my favorite thing ever because you can dress extra AF. Anything sparkly, glittery, furry, velvety, … you name it, is totally acceptable for any holiday party. Why? Because it’s the holidays!! And the best time of year!! (For sales too, hehe!!)
The Gilroy Outlets is such a classic shopping stop in the Bay Area. If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend checking it out, especially if you love scoring deals. Honestly, every time I’ve been shopping there, I’ve found amazing deals!! They have a ton of stores, including designers like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Steve Madden, Kate Spade, and Michael Kors. A few personal favorites are Forever 21, Francesca’s, Levi’s, The North Face, and Aldo. Take a look for yourself what stores are at the outlets here.
I’ll admit, if I came earlier to shop, I would’ve gotten a chance to check out more stores and shopped more. I did arrive a little later in the day, so I only hit a few stores, but I still picked up a handful of items. However, I managed to score a handful of deals on most of my items. I checked out Calvin Klein, J. Crew, Saks Off 5th, Kat Spade, Charlotte Russe, Tommy Hilfiger, Francesca’s, Aldo, and the North Face.
The first store I wanted to check out was Kate Spade, since they always have to cutest purses! Their sale didn’t disappoint me! The were having 60% off, plus an additional 20%. I picked up the Kate Spade Sunset Lane Glitter Bynlee cross body bag in pink (imaged above). There were a lot of different bags in store, including some glitter, polka dots, and a really cute bunny collection. Plus, their classic styles. But the glitter ones seriously were calling my name!! This bag is originally $250, but I got it for about $80! The best deal of the day!
I was on the hunt for a cute and festive dress, so I knew I had to check out Francesca’s. I love this store because it feels like a boutique and has boutique customer service. Plus, they have a wide range of products in the store, including really cute novelty items. Luckily, all their dresses were $30. Most of their dresses range from $40-$60, this was a good find! I found this gorgeous deep red lace dress linked here. I thought it’s be perfect for Christmas with some tights and black heels. The lace and covered neckline makes it very classy, so that will be very appropriate for a family party! The jewelry is on the pricer side for fashion jewelry, but I think they have some unique pieces worth the price. I picked up two earrings, on sale for buy one get one for half off! In total, I spent about $60 for everything.
Shop some styles from Francesca’s
My last purchase of the day was at Aldo. I was definitely on the hunt for some black heels after buying the red dress from Francesca’s. Aldo is definitely one of my go-to’s for shoes. I immediately saw these glittery and fuzzy ankle heels! I was hooked! These are definitely a statement piece for the holiday season. The faux fur with the glitter body is much fun!! I’ll probably wear these for the Christmas time and the New Year. There is also a pink color available, which I probably would’ve gotten, but the black pair is so much more versatile. These were originally $70, but I got these for half off! I also found them on sale on the Aldo website for $25, linked here!
I wish I had more time to shop around, but like I said, it was getting late and dark. I’ll definitely be back to shop more, possibly after the holiday time.
