Springing Backwards

I feel like it’s been winter forever (cry face). All I’ve been wearing have been dark colors like black and navy blue for the past month. Since spring time is approaching, I’ve been itching for something with color. I found the perfect piece with this mustard yellow sweater from Remedy Boutique. It’s pretty awesome because it’s warm enough for the awkward temperature in between Winter and Spring. And not to mention, it’s SUPER soft. No, it’s seriously sooo much softer than your typical cotton sweatshirt. Give me something soft to wear and I’ll love it forever!

Although I don’t own that many things in this strong mustard yellow, I was surprised by how well I liked it on me. This sweater is so quirky and cute, the mustard matches the vibe I was going for. I love this awesome Mickey Mouse graphic, since I’m a HUGE disney kid at heart. Plus, the peace sign he’s holding up adds a very cool and 90s vibe. To build on the 90s look, I thought the sweater would look bomb with my oversized denim jacket. The color of the denim goes really well with the yellow! I usually don’t wear denim on denim, but my light wash boyfriend jeans balance out the 90s and modern vibe. They’re perfect since they’re still loose and relaxed like the 90s, but slim and fitting for a touch of modern.

Remedy Boutique has an awesome selection of quirky and fun apparel and accessories to choose from! Although some of their pieces are vintage inspired with nostalgic graphics, there are so many trendy pieces as well. There’s a great mix between the two throughout the selection. Their pieces instantly add a playful vibe to any outfit, which I love! I obviously love the cute characters, like Mickey Mouse and Bart Simpson, they incorporate into their closet.
