Yay! I’ve finally managed to put together a summer video! Thank god! I can’t go the summer without creating some sort of look book to show my favorite beach time and under the sun looks!! This video took a while to film, but Geremy and I really like how it turned out. Find all the outfit details in the bio description of the video.
I was inspired to create these looks because when I go to the beach, I usually wear outfits coordinated with my swim. At least being in Northern California, I actually don’t ever swim at the beach. Wearing a cute swim suit+ clothing is important for your beach look! Hopefully you find inspiration in these outfits for your summer day.
I knew once I received this dress, I had to give it justice by wearing it somewhere just as beautiful as it is. This was my first time at Sutro Baths and Ocean Beach and let me tell you, it did not disappoint me. This is one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever been to in the Bay Area. The sand was soft, the water was cool (obviously all Bay Area water is chilly), and the light was hitting it just right. Maybe I just caught it on a good day, but this beach seriously lands near the top of my list.
Let’s talk about my look! I wore this white maxi piece, which I’m sure you’ve seen everywhere. What I love so much about this is that it’s actually a romper, then has the white sheer skirt over. It has two slits on the side, which is means it’s an A+ piece for me!! This piece is just gorgeous combining the sheer lace and the deep V neckline. I love how this lace looks with the sheen of the sun. Find this dress from Azkara in white, black, and mustard . This With such a whimsical dress, I wore it with a handmade floral crown. The crown is gorgeous and full of blooms! I love having any sort of flower accessory when I’m shooting in nature. The crown is courtesy of Flower Story Gal.
Huge shoutout to Thea Lau, for shooting this gorgeous set!!
Fun, sun, and PINK!!! My favorite things ever! I can’t believe I got to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret a second year in a row! (Find last years post here) I got to style their Light Lined Eyelash Lace Halter Bralette, which is their spring break essential piece this year! I got it in the burnt apple color, that doesn’t scream spring break, but it ended up being a gorgeous color under the sun. I styled it with some white shorts and a denim jacket for an all american feel.
When I got asked to collaborate with PINK, I was really excited (duh!) but I really wanted to take some fun and spring break-y photos and not repeat my shoot location as last year. I decided to just to so SoCal for a weekend and explore the beaches down there for the shoot! Super extra, right? It wasn’t that big of a deal since I have some friends down there I wanted to visit anyways. But, I had so much fun shooting these photos! SoCal just makes me really happy and the beaches are so lively. We explored Santa Monica Beach and Pier and found some awesome little spots to shoot by. Anyways, this is a set for the books, so I had to document this special trip and shoot. I’m honestly just a huge PINK lover, so please don’t mind my excitement over this collab!
