Stripes in San Francisco

I’ve been super MIA, but I’m finally back with blog post since school is over for the year. My summer goal is be more active on the blog (hopefully). Since it’s finally warming up, I couldn’t wait to wear my new summer pieces out.  I luckily caught San Francisco on a good day to go out on. Many people have perceptions that SF is always cold, but SF is seriously perfect during the summer (or at least you have to catch it on a good day). Here’s to hoping for more perfect city days spent eating brunch and walking around Pacific Heights!!

OUTFIT DETAILS I’m wearing this striped romper from Shop Priceless, which is soooo me because of the maxi skirt that’s attached to it. It definitely adds some drama to my outfit (a plus!!!!) It flows behind you while you walk, which definitely caught the attention of city bystanders. Stripes has definitely been growing on me this season since they’re literally everywhere. I styled it with a black hat, also from Shop Priceless. I’ve been super into this style of a hat, just for the thick circle brim! They’re just a little more retro, which I think goes well with the striped look. All my other hats have floppy brims so I’m really loving the thickness of this brim. For some shoes, I went with my favorite black ankle strap heels. Seriously, my go to for almost every outfit.

Walking On a Dream

I’m such a princes at heart! I couldn’t help but pick up another tulle skirt from Bliss Tulle. Their skirts are honestly so beautifully made and fit so well. Just by touching skirt, you can tell it’s made with beautiful craftsmanship. Even though it’s quite the delicate piece, the quality is amazing! And the way the tulle lays is just stunning, especially in this whisper gray color. The sizing is pretty true to size, as well. My waist is about 24 inches, so I ordered a 00, and asked for the shortest length (I’m 5’1″). I’m even more in love with this piece because the length is custom (no alterations necessary), so I don’t have to wear heels!

Huge thanks for Kim of Flower Story Gal for making this gorgeous arrangement for this outfit!

Soak Up The Last Of Summer

It’s officially Fall! … is it really though? The weather’s been hot, hot, HOT!  This past week in the Bay has been averages of 85°, not that I’m complaining! Although I wasn’t able to make it out to the beach this week, I thought I’d post this set, since I never had the chance to. A lot of people don’t know that beaches in the NorCal are actually super nice to go to. Geremy and I found our own little beach in Santa Cruz that rarely has any people at. Ever. Even though it involves a little hike down a sandy slope and an almost impossible travel over some deep water, we  love how secluded it is.
