I know a lot of people have their own opinions about wearing lingerie as a part of an outfit. Personally, I’ve always loved a beautiful piece of lingerie and am not opposed to wearing an intimate as part of my outfit. There are of course fine lines between what is appropriate for wear in public and what is not. However, just because something is labeled as an intimate, doesn’t mean you can’t take your style into your own hands and wear it out! In today’s world, I think styling a piece of lingerie or intimate as part of an outfit is certainly acceptable if styled right! People style peeking bras and slip dresses everyday, so why not start incorporating beautiful bras like this lace longline bra from Freya Lingerie into an outfit!
About Freya Lingerie – My impression about Freya Lingerie is that they specialize in quality lingerie made to really fit your size. I actually got sized by Freya specialist at Nordstrom who helped me find the right bra size. I’ve actually never gotten professionally sized before, and it turns out I was wearing the wrong bra size! I tried on my new recommended size and was seriously so so SO impressed with the fit and feel of the Freya Collection. I actually didn’t know a bra could feel this comfortable. I’ve always strained away from wearing wire bras since I’ve never really worn the right size and find them uncomfortable. Anyways, what is really impressive about Freya is that their size range is really extensive. They range from a band size from 28 – 28. And a cup size from C to H. I noticed they don’t have A or B cups, and I’m not sure why. They are definitely geared towards the bustier ladies to help them find the right fitting bra. Which is exactly what they did for me. These sizes are UK sizes so you might have to see a specialist to help you find the right size.
This balconette bra was perfect to style since it is a longling bra, which is pretty much the length of a cropped top. I was surprised at how well it lifts my breasts especially since it’s not padded. The seams along the sides of the bra help give the lift! This bra does feature some sheer detailing around the cup and bodice, so it really depends how comfortable you are with wearing pieces like that in public. I personally don’t really have a problem with it, I think the overall look of the bra is still very classy and sexy. This bra fits me perfectly (well, it should! I got it personally fit on me) I styled it with these white high waisted wide leg pants that are seriously my favorite. They make any outfit look classy. The especially flatter me since I’m only 5 “1 and the high waist pant makes me look way taller (plus I’m wearing heels underneath). Find a similar style at Missguided. I also wore it with this pink blazer from TOBI to throw some color in my outfit! Plus, throwing a blazer or outwear piece over the top is a way to cover up if you feel too revealed! The bea does have revealed clasps in the back so any jacket could be a way to hide that.
