Summer Beauty

As we get into the colder months of the year, I’ve already said good bye to my summertime florals and maxis. This is a throwback shoot I did back in August with Thea during the hottest heat wave of the summer. I couldn’t let this beautiful set go to waste, so here’s a small feature on this gorgeous pink lace maxi romper from Love Verity. My previous blog post is on another set from them. Definitely hit their store up if you need any girly maxis! Yes, I’ve posted this dress before… wait two times… but that’s because I love the style so much! When I love something, I tend to buy it in multiple colors, haha. I’m sure I’m not the only one guilty of this. But seriously, this is definitely one my favorite styles I have. The lace is so elegant when I walk. Anyways, I have a growing pile of fall clothes in my room, so I’ll definitely be styling those soon! Although I’m not a fan of colder weather, I can’t wait to style some of my new pieces. Well, time to pack away my summer clothes! See ya in a few months!

Desert Babe

I’ve always be obsessed with statement dresses and this dress is definitely not an exception. I recently picked up this dress in white, which I loved for it’s light, airy, and ethereal vibes. (Check out my previous blog post!) When I saw this dress in this mustard yellow, I was skeptical at first since I rarely sport yellow to contrast my warm skin tone. I’ve had my eye on this dress for a while, so I thought I’d take a risk on this lacey romper dress for the summer. And thankfully, it worked out! I loved shooting this at Stanford’s Cactus Garden (really hard to find the first time) which goes perfectly with the golden yellow. This location is such a hidden gem, I totally felt like I was in the desert! Plus the sunsetting gave us the perfect light the show the sheen through the lace skirt.

Walking On a Dream

I’m such a princes at heart! I couldn’t help but pick up another tulle skirt from Bliss Tulle. Their skirts are honestly so beautifully made and fit so well. Just by touching skirt, you can tell it’s made with beautiful craftsmanship. Even though it’s quite the delicate piece, the quality is amazing! And the way the tulle lays is just stunning, especially in this whisper gray color. The sizing is pretty true to size, as well. My waist is about 24 inches, so I ordered a 00, and asked for the shortest length (I’m 5’1″). I’m even more in love with this piece because the length is custom (no alterations necessary), so I don’t have to wear heels!

Huge thanks for Kim of Flower Story Gal for making this gorgeous arrangement for this outfit!
